Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SA1stWorkers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Our Service

SA1stWorkers connects customers with verified, local South African workers and businesses. We are a marketplace and are not party to the agreements made between customers and workers.

3. Worker Verification

Workers are reviewed by our admin team before appearing in search results. Verification helps build trust but does not constitute a guarantee of work quality. Customers should exercise their own judgement when hiring.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, treat other users with respect, and comply with all applicable laws. Abuse, fraud, or unsafe behaviour may result in suspension of your account.

5. Safety

We provide safety tools including reporting and emergency assistance features. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services directly.

6. Payment and Fees

Payment terms are agreed directly between customers and workers. SA1stWorkers does not process payments or charge service fees at this time. All financial transactions are the responsibility of the parties involved.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on SA1stWorkers, including logos, text, and design, is owned by SA1stWorkers or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

SA1stWorkers is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the platform or from interactions between users. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by workers.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
